For Frontline Staff

Exactly who is responsible for heavy vehicle safety?

Legislation highlights that responsible parties for the safety of heavy vehicles spreads further than just driving activities. Any role that has control or influence over transport related activities has obligations under the law.

Kognent’s Chain of Responsibility training courses for frontline staff focuses on the 6 parties within CoR that influence, but do not control, safe transport activities. Legislation requires that any party which influences transport activities must be trained in their CoR responsibilities and obligations.
